Robins Regional Branding Project

Warner Robins Area Chamber of CommerceDr. Cynthia R. Cano and Dr. Doreen Sams met with the Warner Robins Area Chamber of Commerce and other middle-Georgia Chamber representatives on Tuesday, June 8, 2009 to report on the branding of the region, a project involving both marketing undergraduate and MBA classes. The regional branding project, which is projected to take two years, includes Bibb, Houston, Peach, Twiggs, Monroe, Jones, Crawford, Bleckley, Taylor and Pulaski counties. Opinion surveys and focus groups serve to collect data from residents, business owners, and visitors to the area. The data collection commenced a year ago and is scheduled for completion in August 2009. The findings of the research will serve as a guide for the development of the logo and promotional material, which is the applied project of Dr. Cano's fall 2009 Advertising and Promotions classes. Completion of the regional branding project is projected for 2010.
