Greene Recognized as Superlative
Ryan Greene, graduating senior management major from Rutledge, Ga. has been recognized for his stellar academic career. Greene graduated summa cum laude on May 9 with a 3.9 GPA. What sets him apart from other honor grads is his commitment and service to the university while making excellent grades. He the is first student to ever be elected president of the Student Government Association (SGA) two years in a row. He also participated in the Leadership Certificate Program and the Georgia Education Mentorship Program. He played trumpet and French horn in the pep and jazz bands, played intramural softball and Ultimate Frisbee, and was president of the student housing association as a freshmen. His senior year saw him named both Outstanding Department Major for the Management Department and then Outstanding Student for the College of Business. Greene eventually wants to attend graduate school for an MBA, but first wants to find a job to to gain practical skills and experience. Whatever field he chooses for a career, he is bound to excel just as he has in his academic career.
