The International Business Club assisted the Boys & Girls Club of Milledgeville and Jones County with their annual fundraiser on September 18 at the Milledgeville Country Club. Students designed brochures and flyers and promoted the event in the community for several weeks prior to the date. On the evening of the dinner/auction, students welcomed guests, set up and worked the auction tables, sold raffle tickets, and took pictures. A special part of the evening was a fashion show featuring students modeling clothing from a local shop. Dr. Dee Sams, faculty adviser to the IBC, complimented the students on their professionalism and hard work. It is expected that the proceeds from the successful evening will exceed last year's fundraiser total.
